Kyoto >> Dubai >> Sydney

Got back to Dubai this morning. Managed to sleep tucked in between two seats A and B in the plane. But spent the whole day vegetating at home because I almost had no sleep during the 4 days in Japan.

The days in Japan were nice. Got to think a lot about how complicated it is to be a Japanese. They all like simple stuff such as a bonsai, the cherry blossoms or even the moss on the stone but in order to have a very zen garden there is years of training. To serve a simple cup of tea there are millions of steps and rules to follow. Moreover the urban Japan is awful (noisy, polluted, ugly architecture). Apart from Central Tokyo, which is quite exciting, the rest of the country seems to have been built only to be destroyed by the next earthquake.

Now am putting my mail in order, getting my laundry and preparing for work (at last!!!). Tomorrow morning I fly to Sydney and Auckland. Hope to go to Bondi Beach on Saturday to see some nice Aussies. As for Auckland, the weather forecast is dull so hope to have some nice people on the crew to have fun on a rainy Sunday in New Zealand.

Will be back to Dubai on Wednesday 20th and will start the ordeal to get a tourist visa to go to India for Karine and Chintu's wedding in December! What a hard life! ha ha ha But to be quite frank, I feel useless!!! And my brain is getting to a halt very soon...
